Nixie clocks - and even watches - are quite trendy at present, usually combining vintage nixie (numicator) tubes with microcontroller logic. This example is a bit different in that it's one of very few genuine 1970s TTL clocks. Or arrival in October 2010 it worked but was a bit erratic; fixed a bad joint and replaced a dried out electrolytic capacitor (the yellow one). Hopefully this repair will ensure many more years of silent timekeeping.
